Minimum stay

Going from two nights to four gets discussed as a cleaning matter: fewer changeovers, less laundry. But the guest usually pays for the cleaning anyway, and on that reasoning the lever does nothing at all. What it actually changes is how the calendar packs. A two-night booking between two week-long stays fills a gap; a four-night minimum turns the same gap into five empty nights, and those are lost at the full rate. So this calculates in bookings rather than nights — and asks what share of your requests falls below the new threshold instead of assuming it. That number is sitting in your own enquiry history. The output that matters most is the threshold itself: "you can lose up to 6 % of requests before this costs you money" stays usable even when your estimate is wrong. Your own time is reported separately and is in none of the cash totals.
