Co-host service in the Enz valley
The Enz valley lives from Bad Wildbad: thermal springs in use since the 14th century, the Sommerberg funicular of 1908 and the 380-metre Wildline suspension bridge. Some of our own apartments are here. Your guests often arrive without a car — the light rail from Pforzheim stops in the centre, and that belongs in your listing.
Why guests book in the Enz valley
These facts decide who books your flat — and what belongs in its listing.
- The Sommerbergbahn has run since 1908 and climbs 300 m in four minutes
- The Wildline suspension bridge is 380 m long and swings 60 m above the valley
- The Palais Thermal of 1847 is one of Germany's oldest surviving thermal baths
- The Enz rises at the Kaltenbronn and joins the Neckar 105 km later at Besigheim
When demand rises in the Enz valley
A pricing plan follows the region's occasions, not the calendar. One checkable reason for each travel period:
- New Year
- Bad Wildbad sits at 430 metres in the narrow Enz valley — at New Year the valley is often under fog while the Sommerberg, 300 metres higher, is in sunshine.
- Christmas
- The Sommerbergbahn funicular has run from Bad Wildbad up to the Sommerberg since 1908; over the holidays it is the easiest way out of the valley fog.
- Easter
- Easter is when the paths on the Sommerberg dry out — down in the valley things are already in blossom by then.
- Whitsun
- The Wildline suspension bridge on the Sommerberg is 380 metres long; from Whitsun it is noticeably busier than in spring.
- Summer holidays
- The Enz valley is narrow and wooded — on hot summer days it is regularly several degrees cooler here than in Pforzheim at the valley mouth.
- Autumn holidays
- In autumn the fog often sits in the Enz valley until midday while the Sommerberg above is clear — the funicular crosses exactly that line.
- Winter holiday
- Bad Wildbad is at 430 metres and the Sommerberg at around 730 — snow is considerably more dependable up there than in the town itself.
- Bridge days
- Bad Wildbad is half an hour from Pforzheim, which makes the Enz valley a destination for people deciding at short notice.
- Weekend
- Funicular, thermal baths and treetop walk sit close together in Bad Wildbad — a weekend here works without a car.
- Short break
- Treetop walk, Wildline and funicular are all on the Sommerberg — one ride up covers a short break.
- Ascension Day
- The Sommerberg is one of the busiest destinations in the northern Black Forest on Ascension Day — the early ride up is the quieter one.
- Advent
- In Advent the Sommerberg is often sunny above the fog line while Bad Wildbad stays grey in the valley.

How a mandate works
1. We view the property
We visit your apartment free of charge and without obligation, and assess the location, the fittings, which kind of guest it suits (city break, wellness, family, bleisure) and the occupancy we would expect.
2. Positioning and pricing
We put together a letting plan: the audience, a photography brief, what we would add or change, and a pricing strategy by season. You get a written income forecast before anything is signed.
3. Listing and booking setup
Professional photography and listing copy for Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO. We synchronise the calendars, fit the smart lock and set up the owner statement workflow.
4. Going live and running it
We go live and take on everything: guest communication, check-in, cleaning, maintenance, tax filings and the monthly payout. You see the income; we do the rest.
Co-host in towns of the region
Each of these towns has its own page for a mandate there.
